Job Description

This position supports tasking in PMA-265, NAVAIR Head Quarters and NAVAIRSYSCOM in Patuxent River, Maryland. The successful candidate will support the Australian F/A-18 FMS Budget Financial Manager and the procurement of Australian F/A-18 systems and capabilities performing analytical and evaluative work requiring a comprehensive knowledge of FMS financial management practices and related regulatory provisions. Tasking will include analysis and development of program and engineering budgets, funding documents, P&A and LOA development in DSAMS, MISIL reconciliation and case closure.

Education: A Bachelor's degree is desired. An AA degree and a minimum of Four (4) years of demonstrated experience in DOD financial analysis and a minimum of two (2) years experience in financial operations in support of DOD Security Assistance Programs is required.

Experience: Experience in the preparation of LOA and P&A documents, financial reconciliation, case management and closure, financial action tracking, and utilization of DIFS and MISIL is required. Experience in SIGMA/SAP and Navy ERP is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products is required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of NAVAIR correspondence development practices and being able to construct formal correspondence and briefs using Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, is preferred.
