Description:
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision, the Senior Tax
Accountant for Laureate Education, Inc. reviews/prepares federal state, and
local tax returns for company businesses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reviews/Prepares basic corporate and partnership income tax returns
Experience with FAS 109 calculations and journal entries
Analyzes financial and accounting information for tax implications
Understands and is able to use various tax programs and tax software (e.g.
CorpTax, TaxStream, BNA, RIA, FAS)
Works with confidential company matters ethically and professionally.
Expected to develop a working knowledge of requisite software and internal
work flow/procedures
Maintains a current awareness and understanding of and fully complies with
the company's code of ethics, independence rules and quality control
practices.

Experience:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Working knowledge of basic office technology (Excel, Word)
CPA certification preferred
Good human relations, communication (oral and written) skills.
