Perform statistical analysis in support of business plans. Analyze data, produce reports and graphics. Write summary reports and/or presentations that translate the results of analyses into non-technical results understandable by non statisticians. If applicable, manage other statisticians or data analysts.

Responsibilities:

·         Statistical modeling and analysis

·         Understanding technical issues in statistical modeling and applying these skills toward solving business problems

·         Monitoring statistical model performance and providing technical guidance to business leadership

·         Data preparation

·         Personnel management work (if applicable - some statistical analysis managers do not actually manage people)

·         Identifying opportunities to apply quantitative methods to improve business performance

·         Communicating technical subject matter clearly and concisely to individuals from various backgrounds

·         Project Delivery: Define project scope, execute and evaluate projects, champion new ideas, and influence business leaders.

·         Manage up to 2 people

Basic Qualifications: REQUIRED

·         Masters Degree in Statistics, Economics, Operation Research or Mathematics

·         2 Years experience in Statistics or related quantitative field

·         2 Years experience in Risk management

·         1 Year experience in Statistical modeling techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, neural networks, survival analysis

·         Proficiency in key statistical techniques (predictive modeling, logistic regression, survival analysis, design of experiments, decision trees, data mining methods, and other advanced statistical techniques)

·         Proficient in SAS programming

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Doctorate in Statistics or related quantitative field

·         5 Years experience in Statistics or related quantitative field

·         5 Years experience in Risk management

·         1 Year experience in Managing statisticians

·         2 Years experience in Statistical modeling techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, neural networks, survival analysis

·         2 Years experience in Programming in the SAS System
