AECOM’s Global Mobility Department, located in Glen Allen, VA is seeking a Director of Immigration Services to develop and implement the global delivery of an international company’s immigration services, with heavy emphasis on the Americas region immigration programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop and lead an organization that serves as the center of expertise for all immigration related services around the world, with emphasis on the Americas region.
· Create immigration training materials and deliver the training sessions to various customer groups.
· Develop and closely manage a global network of immigration services vendors.
· Develop and closely manage the immigration database.
· Provide functional expertise to the Mobility Services team members, Line HR, Hiring Managers, Recruiting, etc.
· Lead the development of infrastructure improvements which meet customers' needs, maximize information accessibility for customers and team members, and drive consistent service delivery across all The Company service centers.
· Participate in the annual development of the Global Immigration Service Level Agreement (SLA), including the refinement of metrics and billing components.
· Develop and drive customer service and customer 'experience' improvements across all The Company Mobility service centers that provide immigration services.
· Lead, sponsor and drive immigration improvement projects focused on the Immigration Programs around the world.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Human Resources or related area
· 7-10 years of U.S. immigration law experience, focusing on employment based nonimmigrant and immigrant visas;
· Will consider a JD ( with license to practice law) and five years of corporate immigration law experience
· Included in the required experience:
· Five years of strong project management background;
· Four years of in-house corporate immigration programs design and management experience strongly preferred;
· Two years of corporate immigration training experience preferred
· Immigration database implementation and management expertise preferred;
· Two or more years of coordinating global visa activities preferred
· Two or more years of leading high performing team(s), including high volume vendor management
· Must have a strong consultative approach to client service and problem solving
· Ability to influence effectively at all levels within the organization
· Ability to influence the leaders who will support the objectives of the Mobility programs now and in the future and effectively present the information to audiences
· Ability to build strong relationships at all levels
