Velocity Group is seeking consultants with staffing and recruiting experience for the federal government. This position will deliver a variety of staffing services to federal client agencies. Responsibilities, among others, include: establish basic qualification requirements and conditions of employment; develop agency unique applicant assessments; perform or coordinate job analyses; develop vacancy and inventory notices for delegated examining units and merit promotion processes; adjudicate veterans preference; determine candidate qualification; write justifications for superior qualifications appointments or for payment of relocation/recruitment bonuses; write memorandums of understanding to effect inter-agency details; may use automated system to build vacancies, post positions, and rate and rank applicants; assure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met and that documentation exists to demonstrate regulatory compliance on behalf of the client; document procedures, tasks performed, and recommendations for improving operations to clients; assist agencies with implementation of automated HR systems.
