Description
The successful candidate will lead and grow the multi-million dollar Fed-Civil Business Unit through effective P&L management, a focus on organic and inorganic business development, strong customer support and satisfaction, and leader development.
Responsibilities
Execute effective P&L Management for a diverse multi-million dollar business unit portfolio across multiple contracts.
Develop, execute and ensure business unit strategies are inline with overall USIS objectives and strategy.
Partner with Business Development to design and execute strategies and initiatives that focus on organically and inorganically growing the business unit.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with government customers that foster new opportunities for business unit growth and exceed customer expectations.
Design and manage a business unit structure that meets business unit and overall USIS objectives and strategy, as well as provides strong support to the customers, and development opportunities for program leadership.
Manage and oversee contract delivery, reporting, planning, subcontracting, and negotiations within the business unit.
Lead, Manage and Develop Program Directors, Program Managers and other employees across dispersed USIS and customer locations.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with leaders and members of other USIS and Altegrity functional areas.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals outside of USIS and Altegrity that will assist in growing the business, to include government and private business.
Qualifications
Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field, Master’s or advanced degree preferred. Eligibility for a Top Secret clearance is preferred.
Experience - 10+ years preferred of prior P&L experience, federal government contracting management of multiple and diverse programs, leading mid and high level managers and dispersed employee populations. Demonstrated experience with Fed-civil customers is preferred.
Knowledge - Understanding of federal government contracting, and contracting regulations. Strong business and financial acumen.
Skills – Effective oral and written communication as well as dynamic presentation skills. Basic computer skills to include Microsoft office suite. Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking.
Abilities - Work under broad assignments with considerable autonomy. Develop work methods and structures that support business functioning. Strong ability to interface positively with internal and external customers to build strategic relationships. Leadership and development abilities for multiple levels of an organization and a dispersed population.
