Responsibilities |
|
Activities include managing the activities of a group and lead personnel to achieve project objectives and coordinating activities involving application or implementation of recommendations. This position will act as an internal resource or project team leader in the analysis, evaluation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of products, processes, and systems. Individual will provide assistance in acquisition, program, and project management. This position may investigate and resolve problems, interface with other functions and outside personnel, and prepare and execute budgets. Individual will maintain and update DOD-5000.2-M documentation, including the Integrated Program Summary (IPS). In addition, the individual will assist in preparing and coordinating program documents and reports required by external agencies to include the Department of the Army Staff; assist in preparing the milestone documentation packages to support Milestone A, B, and C decisions; provide Technical Support Services (TSS) to assist the PM Soldier Survivability staff in the area of project scheduling and ACAT III documentation generation and tracking. To accomplish these efforts, the individual should have with experience in DoD ACAT III acquisition management, and in the development and maintenance of program-level schedules. The following identifies the anticipated scheduling and ACAT III documentation support required: ¿ Identification of key activities, milestones, resources and critical path dependencies for development, production and fielding of PM managed projects and products ¿ Determine, generate and monitor required documentation for ACAT III ¿ Development of mid-range and long range planning schedules to depict the above activities and milestone events ¿ Publishing, distribution, and revision/update as required by PM SSV/Staff, in hardcopy and electronic formats ¿ Gathering information and maintaining schedule baselines through on-going coordination with PM SWAR Staff, product managers, assistant product managers, tester, user, support and contractor representatives ¿ Development of schedule-related briefing materials and schedule analysis to support project management requirements ¿ Experience required in contract management in a PM environment ¿ Support for and participation in meetings, briefings and generation of meeting minutes, as required |

Qualifications |
|
Those interested should be excellent communicators willing to work with heavy task loads in a team environment. An interview at our office is required for this position, please be able to show samples of your work at this interview. Required ¿ 4 year degree in related field ¿ 8 years overall experience in acquisition support, but will consider less experience ¿ Level III DAWIA certification in Program Management or related field ¿ Basic acquisition/project management knowledge/experience ¿ Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously ¿ Experience in systems analysis computer hardware, software, and Information Technology functions ¿ Competence in MS Office tools Preferred ¿ 10-12 years experience in acquisition support ¿ Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and policy ¿ Prior military experience highly desired Expected Travel: 25% Security Clearance: Secret Required |
