Job Description:

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management of the Quality System as the primary interface for all ISO and CMMI internal and external issues. Responsible for corrective action tracking from internal audits as well as external and certification audits. Responsible for all ISO, CMMI and AS9100 documentation implementation, revision and incorporation into Company policies. Compiles, maintains and distributes ISO corrective action charts, CMMI work instructions and AS9100 artifacts. Participates in concurrent engineering, assisting program quality by ensuring that all customer-related Quality System requirements for the Elbit Systems of America- McLean Quality System are documented and identified as specified by the Elbit Systems of America-McLean Quality System. Serves as lead agent for CMMI re-certification and AS9100 validation.



1. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

2. Prepare and present periodic reports on the status of the Quality Management System to senior management as part of monthly business reviews, program management reviews and quarterly business reviews.

3. Act as primary contact for internal and external customers during audits and recertification audits.

4. Manage the internal audit schedule. Conduct scheduled and ad hoc internal audits and assessments.

5. Administer Corrective Action process in response to audit findings.

6. Manage processes for Quality Management System documentation.

7. Plan, support and conduct training related to the Quality System.

8. Manage the Corrective Action process and acts as chairperson of the Corrective Action Board.

9. Supervise the collection, analysis and distribution of customer satisfaction information.

10. Provide information and support for the Management Review Process.

11. Adhere to internal ethics policies and procedures and external regulations and laws.

12. Participate in the achievement of Quality Management and Process Improvement performance goals.

13. Maintain and continuously improve the Quality System webpage.

14. Establish and maintain labor, capital and/or expense budgets as required.

15. Select, train and develop subordinates. Assign work for most efficient utilization of personnel and reviewing their activities to assure quality performance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate business or quality assurance curriculum and 10 years directly related experience, or a combination of equivalent education and experience. A thorough knowledge of the AS9100, ISO 9000:2008 and CMMI Standards and the process for gaining and maintaining certification is critical. Strong technical understanding of the software development lifecycle, avionics and interpersonal skills are essential. Knowledge of military communications systems is desirable.
