We are adding a Program Manager to our Production Operations & Integration Services team, to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing service delivery to our clients.

About the Job
As a Program Manager at OPOWER you will lead deployments of our cutting-edge product suite for our utility clients. Once a contract is signed, you will be responsible for insuring our program is delivered on-time and under-budget, thereby exceeding the client's expectations. You will manage ongoing service delivery to existing clients, working closely with our sales team and product team. This is an ideal job for a professional, software implementation project manager, who wants to be part of a rapidly growing startup, and contribute to our success by delivering our world-class product suite to our clients.

Responsibilities
• Lead the implementation by working closely with the Account Executive and the Implementation Engineering team
• Identify the tasks needed to complete the implementation
• Set and drive the project plan
• Coordinate the resolution of technical issues
• Secure deliverables from the client team
• Support communication with key client stakeholders
• Develop solid, trusting relationships with the client and be required to travel for face-to-face meetings with the client on important milestones
• Managing multiple implementations at any given time

About You
• You have a BS or MS degree
• You have 3-5 years of project management experience in professional services, consulting, or product implementation management role.
• You love working with clients, leading a team, and delivering world-class technical projects with high quality. You are equally comfortable working with project managers, business analysts, engineers, and executives.
• You understand that the success of each project with each client will determine whether the client remains with us, and that you own making that success a reality
• You thrive when given the opportunity to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and have the ability to make multi-tasking look effortless
• You have working knowledge of how to build an effective project plan that takes into account technical details, internal and external dependencies, shared resources, and risks
• You demonstrate the ability to learn and/or understand technical concepts, including application architecture, data relationships and features at a deep functional level. This helps you identify problems with prospective implementations (and your project schedules)
• You are an excellent communicator who can work well with clients remotely, and move projects along using conference calls, Webex, wikis, and other project management tools
• You have an eye towards process improvement and efficiency and are not satisfied until you feel you've been able to exceed the expectations of clients and internal stakeholders
• Traveling 10%-20% of the time to meet with a client's project team for key milestones (e.g. kick-off meetings and major-milestone delivery meetings) is what you know allows you to establish a strong relationship with the client, enabling you to get the job done right.
• You function well in a fast-paced, informal environment where constant change is the norm and the bar for delivering results is set high
