ATSC is looking for a Sr. Project Manager with at least 4 years of PM and 6 years of IT experience (Mortgage industry strongly preferred) to work with our direct client in Herndon, VA.  

The candidate MUST be a US CITIZEN or GREEN Card holder.  There are no exceptions. 

About the Position:
- Take responsibility for release management and coordination activities between the development and test organizations.
- Interface with Directors, managers, and project managers to ensure standards and processes are followed and that status is being communicated effectively.
- Identify project plan risks and issues and provide assistance and guidance to management as these situations arise.
 - Ability to manage multiple projects ensuring time, scope, and§ budget are monitored appropriately.

Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:
 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
 3 or more years of project management experience managing multiple medium to large-scale projects
 Excellent analytical, organizational leadership, teaming, and interpersonal skills.
 Expertise in written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
 Expertise with automated project management tools.
 Thorough understanding of the SDLC

Nice to have Skills:
 Experience in mortgage industry preferred.
 Experience with Clear Case and Clear Quest  
 Previous technical experience with Java, J2EE, Unix or Oracle/Sybase preferred
