Principal Electrical Estimator

Project:
Parsons is managing an Independent Verification and Validation IV&V program for an agency within the Department of Defense to review third party A/E work, conduct self-performed studies and analysis, testing and measuring, and perform specialized engineering services, planning and design reviews, commissioning services and construction oversight on worldwide delivery orders.
Need
Parsons is seeking a Principal Electrical Estimator for Annapolis Junction, MD. Successful candidate will complete a wide variety of difficult and complex estimating activities for IV&V, with focus on the electrical discipline including systems and subsystems.
Qualifications
10 - 12 + years of related work experience, including capital cost estimating experience
Proficiency in, and ability to work with engineering drawings and specifications required
Certification by the Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis (SCEA) or equivalent is required or the ability to obtain certification within the first year of employment
Proficiency performing difficult and complex estimating activities typical to the engineering and construction industry is required
Familiarity with the use of estimating software, MII or Success Estimator preferred
Ability to work with engineering drawings and specifications specific to the mechanical discipline
4-year Degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field) is required
Candidate must be able to successfully complete requirements for TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance, existing active security clearance preferred.
