We are currently seeking a Regional Technical Manager.  Regional Technical Managers at CCC hold primary responsibility for assisting regional plants with the installation of new and equipment, troubleshooting blow mold and down-stream equipment and restoring machine effectiveness.




Responsibilities:

The Regional Technical Manager takes a leadership role in the development and implementation of the vision and strategy to improve the 300 plastic blow molding production platforms in 30 plants with over 1,000 employees.  Reporting to the Regional Operation Director, the RTM provides technical support to the ROD and plants within the region.  Peer relationships include Regional Quality Managers and Director Employee & Organizational Excellence .  The Regional Technical Manager will work closely with Plant Managers, Plant Staffs and Corporate Engineering Resources.    Future assignments could include Plant Manager, Regional Operations Director, Commercialization Project Leader, or Corporate Engineering.


 


What will you do?


 



  • Ensure compliance with corporate safety standards and applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.

  • Assist plants to ensure development and attainment of quality standards for all maintenance related activities.

  • Repair blow mold and down-stream machinery and equipment.

  • Analyze maintenance, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical problems and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained to meet production schedules & quality standards.

  • Assist plants with improving equipment effectiveness and availability.

  • Provide for the advancement of preventative and predictive maintenance programs as well as the achievement of plant reliability excellence.

  • Develop innovated ideas to improve production processes.

  • Be responsible for the efficient utilization of maintenance resources, materials and equipment by advancing the planning and scheduling processes.

  • Provide training to plant maintenance technicians and blow mold operators.




Qualifications:

Education/Experience Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree in engineering

  • Formal education in: Electrical, pneumatics, robotics, hydraulic, mechanical is preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years leadership experience in a manufacturing plant

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in blow mold/extrusion repair maintenance is required

  • Solid business acumen

  • Demonstrated skills in Continuous Improvement

  • Willingness to travel up to 60% within assigned region
