Position will support the compilation and update of Integrated Master Plans and the Integrated Scheduling Management system; management of document and technical libraries; and update of the Integrated Data Environment for The U.S. Coast Guard, Office of Acquisitions (CG-9321), Maritime Security Cutter Large (WMSL)/National Security Cutter (NSC) project.
Specifically, responsibilities will include providing programmatic expertise to facilitate document research, using asset specifications for a variety of mission systems throughout the mid-life of the WMSL/NSC acquisition including expertise in areas such as combat systems, air systems, C4I systems, infrastructure and facilities. Responsibilities also include reviewing existing analyses and work products developed for this acquisition program from other Coast Guard entities, including the three technical authorities, i.e., (CG-1) Assistant Commandant for Human Systems, (CG-4) Assistant Commandant for Systems, (CG-6) Assistant Commandant for Communications (facilitation shall include working with the program sponsor, (CG-7) Assistant Commandant for Capability); providing assistance with tasks associated with general technical (naval engineering, architecture, shipbuilding operations), scheduling, data management, communications, logistics, and support functions.
PMI® certification (PMI Scheduling Professional) or a Defense Acquisition University Project Manager Level II certification or demonstrated experience supporting a Major Acquisition Program (ACAT I).
The Acquisition, Scheduling & Data Management Manager must demonstrate experience with military ship construction. It is desired that the individual’s experience span all phases of ship construction (i.e. pre-production, production, and post delivery). It is desired that this individual have experience with Navy’s Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) organization and processes. It is desired that this individual have experience with Coast Guard Naval Engineering organization

- Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a highly dynamic environment
