Job Description:

Position will support the development, review and implementation of configuration management plans and policies for The U.S. Coast Guard, Office of Acquisitions (CG-9321), Maritime Security Cutter Large (WMSL)/National Security Cutter (NSC) project.  Specifically, responsibilities will include administration of the Army ECP Automated Review System (MEARS) database and the design and establishment of configuration management documentation.  Provide advice and guidance on methods, procedures and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation and act as primary liaison between Program Management and other functional groups and resolve any issues regarding configuration management documentation.


PMI® certification (Project Management Professional or Certified Associate in Project Management) or a    Defense Acquisition University Project Manager Level II certification or a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience supporting a Major Acquisition Program (ACAT I).


Demonstrated experience with military ship construction




  • Desired experience that spans all phases of ship construction (i.e. preproduction, production, and post delivery)

  • Ability to plan, coordinate and execute project activities

  • Analytical ability to include the analysis of problems and the resolution of issues

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiar with administering the Army ECP Automated Review System (MEARS) database

  • Must possess strong self-initiative and ability to multi task

  • Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a highly dynamic environment
