DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation (DAC), headquartered in Arlington, VA is seeking a full-time Senior Technical Advisor who is ready for a new challenge with an innovative company. The Senior Technical Advisor will work with Department of Defense and US Government Agencies to develop implementation plans and strategies to achieve information sharing goals as directed by Presidential Executive Order and various Department of Defense Directives/Instructions. The Senior Technical Advisor will be a vital part of a management team which consults with the government to deliver operational solutions to information sharing problems. This Senior Technical Advisor should be well versed in the current standards and specifications which govern the Department of Defense Information Sharing Enterprise, must be extremely familiar with current technology, and should have practical experience with delivering operational information sharing solutions to the government. 
 
Job Description:
The ideal Senior Technical Advisor will be motivated in their desire to solve government information sharing problems and will leverage past experience to deliver technical solutions, plans and strategies which have an immediate impact within the Department of Defense and across Federal agencies.
 
Primary responsibilities:
·      Work with the Joint Staff Office of Chief Information Officer to develop Information-Sharing implementation strategies, plans, and processes. Define standards and specifications-based architectures that support the Information Sharing strategy. Suggest technical approaches that when implemented will deliver operational solutions which achieve the information sharing goals of the Joint Staff and the Department of Defense.
·       Adapt current and emerging Joint Staff governance processes so that they can better manage the delivery of Information Sharing Centric solutions.
·      Work with the Joint Staff to utilize and implement commercial and DoD managed enterprise services when developing solutions for information sharing problems.  This activity also requires the application of sound systems engineering practices to guide Joint Staff action officers in designing and executing implementation plans.
·       Participate in forums designed to improve the Department of Defense’s Net-Centric Data Strategy, implementation policy and process.
 
Required Qualifications and Experience:
A minimum of  twelve (12) years experience in the information technology discipline or associated operational experience. Has detailed knowledge of the applicable technology, tools, and processes in the specified area of knowledge (Information Sharing, Enterprise Services Strategy). Ten (10) years experience applying skills and knowledge to the assigned problem area or system and its operation, capabilities, design/architecture or improvement field.
·         Experienced independent advisor to senior level clients.
·         This activity requires a solid understanding of commercial and government-provided enterprise services available and the processes used to leverage these capabilities.
 
Required Education:
Master’s Degree in relevant field of study or equivalent. Individual will have specialty engineering or IT certifications required for the assignment.
 
Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
