Team Lead performing cradle to grave contract administration on multiple contract vehicles.
Specific duties include: Bid/Proposal preparation, including review of the Price Proposal for RFP/RFQ compliance, negotiations of price including prime contractors and subcontractors, as well as other terms and conditions of the RFP/RFQ. Administration of contractual agreements including JV, TA, NDA’s etc., as well as contract action Close-out. The individual would also be responsible for the business aspect of program execution of assigned contract actions. Specific actions could include: preparation of a summary contract matrix, participation in development of financial execution strategies, budget reviews, understanding of on-going profit and loss by contract, analysis of cost variance (spend plan) and recommending corrective strategies, Costpoint accounting reporting.

Qualifications required: Experience: 10-15 years experience in a DoD contractor environment. Familiar with the preparation, analysis and response to DoD, Federal Government contract solicitations and commercial solicitations. Specific experience should include the preparation, negotiations, execution, and administration of contracts, subcontracts, Joint Ventures, Teaming Agreements, or other bilateral business arrangements.
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, TINA, CAS, Service Contract Act, ED/EDI, EVMS, and SB/SDB requirements is required. Knowledge of Cost Point Accounting systems and ISO certification process is desirable. Strong computer skills are essential, - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Microsoft Project, Powerway, LAN/WAN, Internet Navigation, etc.
B.S. in Business related field, preferred. Other: CPCM or DAWIA Certification desired.
Professional contracting and procurement business courses, desired. Educational qualifications may be partially substituted for work experience. |
