Audio Visual Specialist
Digicon Corporation, established in 1985, is a full-service Information Technology Integrator and Solutions Provider to both government and commercial customers. Digicon employs approximately 300 employees throughout the Washington metropolitan area, as well as several other major cities across the nation.
We are currently in search for an Audio Visual Specialist to work at our client site in Washington, DC. This is a full-time employee position with Digicon Corporation.
Position Description:
The candidate shall provide technical support in resolving issues and performing activities dealing with audio/video systems, and other telecommunications matters including, but not limited to, the following:
• The candidate shall provide A/V services which include, but are not limited to, audio conferencing, videoconferencing, presentation and conference room setup and coordination (not to include furniture setup), and logistical support processes as specifically directed by the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (“COTR”).
• Additional activities shall include Customer Support Center (CSC) coordination and data entry into the FootPrints call tracking software. The Government will furnish, as appropriate, required data and specific materials necessary for the performance of the required support services.
• The hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except Federal Holidays, emergency closings and other non-work days.
Position Requirements:
To successfully perform the requirements of this task, it is anticipated that the candidate have three to five years of experience in the use of A/V equipment, including equipment for videoconferencing. They shall be able to troubleshoot hardware problems, as well as software problems for all Microsoft Office applications
