Director, Corporate HR Services, North America

We are currently looking for a Director, Corporate HR Services to lead human resources compliance and data related processes for Division North America. Reporting to the Vice President, HR, North America, the Director, Corporate HR Services will work with Corporate (Reston and Sterling) leadership to understand business objectives and identify corresponding human resource needs while managing division-wide performance management, HR information services and HR compliance strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages corporate employee relations and performance management efforts.
- Establishes effective working relationships between human resources and line management to transform human resources into a business partner.
- Ensures effective on-boarding of corporate employees.
- Develops and drives division-wide HR information services strategy, programs and processes.
- Develops strategies and processes to improve HR compliance division-wide.
- Manages division-wide performance management process, procedures, and communications and systems.
- Responsible for effective vendor management including ensuring, establishing, communicating and adhering to policies and procedures, including but not limited to the following areas:
- Affirmative Action Plans
- Immigration
- Unemployment
- HR data reporting and analysis
- Establishes human resources policies.
- Coaches and provides direction to Regional Senior Human Resources personnel at units throughout the Division as appropriate.
- Establishes programs and processes for ensuring compliance with federal and state employment law including affirmative action and EEO requirements.
- Develops metrics for measuring performance of human resources function.
- Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related tasks as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university required; Masters in related field preferred.
Work Experience:
- Ten years experience in progressively responsible human resource roles, with at least 5 years experience in a Generalist role preferred.
- Experience working in transportation, hospitality, manufacturing or food service environment highly desirable.
Job Skills:
- Multi-lingual skills highly desirable.
- Candidate must be knowledgeable in both Federal and state employment law.

Environmental Requirements:
- Regular office environment.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
