We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented recruitment and staffing professional to join our team.  The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant will provide support to AECOM's Shared Services Center in Richmond, Virginia and will also support elements of our engineering/technology businesses in the Mid-Atlantic Region.


 


General Duties


 


The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant will be responsible for the following.


 


Relationship Management Activities


Hiring Manager/Shared Services & Business Line


*  Participates in meetings to obtain updates on business, projects and skill needs -- also provides updates on searches


*  Consults on staffing strategy, hiring and sourcing trends


*  Works with hiring managers to refine job descriptions, provide candidates (resume reviews & phone screens)


*  Consults on hiring decisions, chairs feedback sessions, consults in developing offer, negotiates offer with candidate on behalf of company and group


Candidate


*  Screens, interviews and develops candidate slate


*  Prepares candidates for screening/interviews


*  Represents candidates internally in the case of multiple positions


*  Coordinates with other staffing groups to share candidates


*  Ensures a positive experience for the candidate


*  Provides timely, accurate & relevant feedback to internal & external candidates


*  Positively positions AECOM to candidates


*  Closes offer by proactively addressing any reservations or concerns 


External Relationships


*  Represents AECOM & business lines with employment agencies and college/university contacts


Sourcing Channel Execution


*  Optimizes job postings and screening questions for marketability for both internal & external positions


*  Develops and executes sourcing strategies


*  Provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff


*  Introduces new sourcing techniques to hiring managers and colleagues


*  Provides sourcing expertise on hiring initiative including follow up with warm and cold calling


Management of Talent Acquisition Process


*  Open the requisition


*  Determine the sourcing strategy


*  Screen candidates


*  Develop the slate of candidates


*  Manage the interview and feedback process


*  Manage the offer process


*  Manage the data and status in the BrassRing system


*  Ensure a seamless transition to onboarding


Talent Acquisition Event Support


*  Participate in site specific and/or function specific recruiting and community events


Project Management


*  Participate on project teams


Data Management


*  Responsible for entering data and updating the applicant tracking system on a real time basis


 


Requirements:


*  A Bachelors Degree is required


*  A minimum of 10 - 12 years of progressively responsible experience recruiting in some combination of corporate and/or agency environment


*  Strong consultative skills with an ability to build relationships


*  Ability to deal with multiple internal clients and key business leaders


*  A strong understanding of recruiting processes and practices


*  Strong writing and communication skills including the ability to present to large and small, internal and external groups


*  Proficiency in web-based recruiting systems


*  Proficiency with MS Office


*  Strong time management, teamwork and personal organizational skills


*  Human Resources experience a plus


*  Experience within the engineering consulting industry a plus
