Manager of Grant Programs

 

We are searching for leadership in obtaining and managing grant opportunities through federal, state, foundation, and private opportunities. Position will report to the Senior Director of Academic Services and will support all virtual academies and the Business Development team as needed.

Responsibilities:

 

Work with virtual academies to add capacity in securing competitive and formula grants

Monitor implementation and compliancy requirements of grants at virtual academies and support schools in audits of such programs

Research both interstate and intrastate grant opportunities for virtual academies and assist in the completion of selected grant applications

Support school leaders and other staff in the implementation of obtained grants

Expand capacity for the oversight of the preparation of annual reports on the implementation of the grant or as otherwise required by the grantee.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; Master’s degree a plus

Experience with federal grant programs, both in consolidated plan completion and monitoring

Successful track record in obtaining grants through submission of grant applications

Ability and desire to travel (20%)

Strong organizational and project management skills; able to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment

Excellent communication skills
