The Director of Public Relations works to support company growth objectives and increase brand awareness by leveraging the media and developing and managing strategic partnerships with key non-profit organizations. Reporting directly to the EVP of Marketing, this position manages cross-functionally to support key communications efforts, launching business initiatives internally and externally to gain exposure.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develops and executes P.R. campaigns to support the growth and expansion of company products and services.
Owns and manages key Non-profit relationships, including the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association.
Assists in the writing of sales materials, as well as large-scale member communications such as Member Newsletter.
Manages Bravo Health’s external Public Relations vendors to maximize the impact of positive media exposure on the company.
Triages inbound media requests to the appropriate Bravo Health spokesperson.
Works both internally and externally on the development of strategic programs, sponsorships and communications plans that support organization goals and objectives.
Ghost writes for internal and external company communications and articles.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
College degree in related field
Minimum 7-10 years Public Relations; at least 5 years of management experience
Experience in the health care industry preferred, related to Medicare or Medicaid
Very strong professional communications skills required
