We are a proven regional property management firm that owns and operates multi-family communities.  Our success has been proven over several decades beginning with development and construction to successful management.  We are currently in need of a proven Regional Manager to aggressively manage all aspects of a multi-family unit portfolio in the Maryland/Virginia area.

We are seeking an experienced, performance driven team builder and motivator with experience in both of these markets.  Successful candidates will come from a background of experience in acquisitions and dispositions as well as a background of successful ‘hands on’ management performance. 

Job Description:

·         Develop, manage and administer this growing portfolio of multi-family properties

·         Manage all activities relating to the operation of the properties including but not limited to:       

o   Review, control and analyze operating income and expenses

o   Proficient in the review and implementation of all financial statements and reporting

o   Prepare annual operating and capital expenditure budgets

o   Communication both internally and externally

o   Knowledge of principals and procedures for recruiting, hiring, training, motivating and mentoring staff

o   Approve all bills for payment in a timely manner

o   Conduct regular tours of the property

o   Develop and maintain a base of quality contractors to provide an efficient and profitable operation

o   Oversight of all construction projects and remodels

o   Create innovative marketing plans to reach our targeted goals

o   Safety laws and regulations for property management

o   Handle any special projects or reports as needed

o   Supervision of all on site personnel

Requirements

·         Bachelors Degree desired and 7-10 years experience required

·         Proven aptitude for financials

·         Strong Customer Service and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

·         Detail oriented with strong organizational proficiency

·         Some limited travel required

·         Basic knowledge of various computer software programs.  Experience with Yardi and AMSI a plus

·         Background in Acquisition and Disposition of properties
