Job Title: Sales Associates

Job Description:

Duties:

Sales Associates are responsible for maintaining excellent customer service, generating sales, cash register operations, housekeeping, re-stocking, signings, pricing, operating cash stands and loss prevention in adherence to all Kennedy Center standards in the Gift Shops and Concessions areas. Associates must be available for evening and weekend shifts. Evening shifts typically end at 11 p.m.

Education/Experience/Skills

High School diploma or GED required. Experience in retail operations preferred. Must have strong interpersonal and communications skill, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment; knowledge of customer service stands and procedures, ability to analyze and solve problems; knowledge of shipping methods and procedures; ability to stand for long periods of time. Some heavy lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.
