Description:
Field Experts are being recruited/hired to participate in a Field Services Program with CCS. CCS is looking to hire individuals to handle Demos, Audits, Secret Shopper visits, and Relationship Building visits. Each Expert will cover a specific territory, which includes select Best Buy & Target locations with varying frequencies. Field Experts will also assist with training retail salespeople on the brand’s products.

- Washington DC

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete visits and execute Demos, Audits, Secret Shopper visits, and Relationship Building visits per the guidelines as established by CCS and our retail partners
• Report visit activity the day of the visit
• Receive POP/Merchandising materials at home for distribution/implementation into retail stores
• Communicate effectively with store personnel and CCS Field Management
• Provide ongoing updates to the Regional; Manager regarding compliance and performance to goal.
• Escalate challenges/pushback to Regional Manager immediately



Hours/Schedule

The hours and schedule for this position will vary depending on the time of year. There will be an average of 20-25 stores per territory. The hours for this position are flexible.

Off-Peak Season - there will be 1-hour merchandising visits for each store in the territory. These visits can be made on any day of the week (preferably on the weekdays/normal business hours). The average number of hours/month – 24-26 hours/month during the off-peak season

Peak/Holiday Season (October, November, December, May and June) – the hours will significantly increase due to the “Assisted Selling Days” program. During these times, the visits for each store will increase by 4 hours giving each store a total 5 hours/month. At this time, the 1-hour merchandising visits will continue to take place. The schedule for “Assisted Selling Days” will be Friday evenings and Saturdays, with the possibility of some Sunday visits. Each store in the territory will be visited once per month for 4 hours on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Again, this is a flexible schedule allowing each individual to determine their own hours/days.


Required Experience:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Ideal candidate should be responsible, able to work well independently with minimal supervision.
• Great customer service skills.
• Merchandising or retail sales experience preferred
• Strong interest/experience in photography preferred
• Have strong technical aptitudes relating to electronics (cameras/computers)
• Availability to work weekends for Demo Day activity
• Candidates must have internet/email access for reporting purposes
• Confidence in speaking in front of a group of people for Training and Demos
• Consumer Electronics experience a plus
• Training experience is a plus
• Availability for overnight travel twice per year for National Training Meetings
