Responsibilities:

The Regional Account Director represents the company’s products and services to the healthcare industry and conducts sales activities that result in: signed contracts with new customers and add-on sales orders with existing customers. This position serves as the overall account manager through the qualification, presentation, close, and implementation hand-off phases of the sales process. The Regional Account Director is also responsible for the timely completion of any administrative functions necessary to effectively conduct business operations.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree with a MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum 5 years documented track record of consistently exceeding quota

  • Experience selling and forming long-term relationships at the administrative, clinical and IT levels, as well as at the C-Level of hospitals or other major healthcare systems

  • Strong understanding of healthcare market and the changes occurring that affect hospitals

  • Able to understand and articulate the complete value proposition (information and process enhancements) that VISICU provides to: C-Level executives, physicians, nurses and IT

  • Capable of formulating a winning strategy and employing corporate resources as required to complete the sale and implementation

  • Able to understand and discuss the critical issues being faced today by healthcare enterprises

  • A dedicated team player capable of leading a multifaceted team (officers, clinical, field service engineering, and R&D resources) through a complex sales cycle using solution selling

  • Able to sell to both the executive office and the clinical staff within the enterprise

  • Strong prospecting skills


Territory:

Each Regional Account Director is assigned to a territory comprised of specific targeted accounts within an assigned geographic region. We have a position available in the West Coast Region.
