This profession is intended to cover individuals who are managers of a team of sales representatives or an entire sales department. Sales Managers are responsible for the coordination of sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals. Sales managers establish training programs for sales representatives as well as analyze statistical data to determine sales potential and to establish commission structures.
This profession covers individuals who support the sales team. Support includes providing assistance with contracts, responding to RFPs, managing commissions and overseeing administrative areas directly related to sales.
