Overview:
To support the essential duties of the Vice President, Sales & Marketing by gaining the sales required in satisfying corporate sales objectives. Take responsibility for maintaining and growing assigned accounts by developing and expanding existing client relationships. Continually build a pipeline of new clients. Follow up on leads by providing sales support in response to client inquiries. Demonstrates ESA’s product line to prospective clients and provides understanding of product value to possible clients. Act as the technical liaison between the client and ESA during the sales process. Provide feedback to product, business development, engineering, and operations organizations regarding client’s current and future technical product requirements.

Responsibilities:
1. Maintains a complete knowledge of ESA’s products, services and policies.

2. Has a strong technical understanding of ESA offerings and knows when to engage engineering assistance.

3. Establishes and maintains influential relationships at all levels. Ability to navigate intense political and competitive environments and build consensus.

4. Operates under considerable latitude.

5. Gain the sales required to attain corporate sales objectives.

6. Perform market research and analysis to identify new market and client possibilities. Monitor internal and external environments for development of new market segments.

7. Work with the Engineering and Support staff to develop ESA technology demonstrations for use at client sites and trade shows.

8. Work with the Engineering and Support staff to keep abreast of company capabilities/products and industry trends in order to keep Elbit Systems of America, LLC on the cutting edge of communications technology.

9. Attend trade shows, visit clients, and assist in the development and maintenance of short term and long term client relationships.

10. Contributes heavily to the quote, proposal, and RFI efforts.

11. Develops themes and capture strategies for individual efforts.

12. Has a strong understanding of the international defense market and ITAR.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. 7 to 9 years of significant Pre-Sales or Sales experience of technical system integration and products, preferably to the Defense Market. A strong presence, business savvy, and exceptional presentation skills are a must. Strong communication skills both written and oral are also needed. A minimum of 10% travel is required for this role, with it possibly reaching more than 50% at times.
