THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN RICHMOND, VA!

A Results-oriented sales professional needed to promote Carilion Lab Outreach products within a specifically defined geographic area.  Will present and demonstrate Carilion's Outreach Products, highlighting their features, benefits, and relevance to the prospects' business needs.  Prepares responses to clients requests for proposals.   Develops presentations to effectively explain difficult concepts and products.   Strong problem resolution skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed.   Must have the proven ability to meet quota year after year.   Must effectively manage the entire sales cycle for each prospect.  Will travel up to 70% of the time.   The successful candidate will be goal-oriented and driven to not only meet, but also exceed established corporate sales goals.   The ideal candidate will possess senior level sales experience, specifically in healthcare and/or the healthcare IT industry.   Knowledge of laboratory Commercial Outreach programs is desired, but not required.   This individual will be extremely comfortable and will thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.   Enthusiasm and strong initiative is a must.   This individual must consult with prospect executives/decision makers to develop and implement an effective prospect wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by Carilion Lab's services.   This person must also build excellent client relationships offering value-added, insightful input to their practice.  Will orchestrate resources and build virtual teams committed to and accountable for your client's success.


Qualifications Required:

Education - A Bachelor's Degree and prior health care IT related sales and marketing experience is highly desirable.

Experience - The ideal candidate will have a strong background (minimum 5 years experience) in healthcare information technology sales or reference laboratory sales, but not required.   Knowledge of clinical care delivery, knowledge of healthcare business practices, guidelines, policies, and knowledge of strategic selling concepts.

 

Licensure, certification, and/or registration - Must possess valid Virginia Driver's License.

 

Other Minimum Qualifications - The candidate must possess an aggressive can-do attitude, excellent presentation and oral communication skills.    The candidate must be able to work in a demanding environment under tight deadlines.
