The Manager/Director of Digital Forensics will lead and perform all digital forensic services including evidence preservation, collection, analysis, data recovery, tape recovery, electronic mail extraction, and database examination. In this position, you will:
Provide consulting and advisory services to attorneys and clients regarding digital forensic issues, options, vendors, methods, cost and time estimates in support of new and existing cases involving e-discovery and forensic analysis.
Research, plan and develop new digital forensic services, guidelines, best practices, methods, standards, procedures, documentation, tools and platforms in an effort to expand the scope of CLS services and revenue, and ensure the excellence, defensibility and profitability of CLS work product and deliverables.
Assist in developing internal mind-share and market share by defining services and pricing schemes, communicating and presenting best practices, and developing strong one-on-one relationships with key customers.
Provide hands-on assessment and troubleshooting of a wide variety of technical problems.
Assist in developing robust, secure and forensically sound lab, processing and media/data storage environments and infrastructure.
Requirements Qualifications:
Requires a 4-year degree or equivalent combination of experience and certifications. Advanced degrees and certifications a plus, a JD is ideal.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience is required, prefer 10 years.
Requires substantial experience in the full range of forensic tools and methods used to collect and analyze electronically stored information and devices, especially in the context of a civil lawsuit or corporate investigation.
Desire significant experience in communicating with IT personnel, documenting corporate network systems and transactional databases, and consulting on preservation, collection and processing of data using a variety of ad hoc and in-house corporate tools and processes.
Must have extremely strong customer service orientation, and an ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and briefly.
Requires a demonstrated desire to drive problems to complete and timely resolution, with extraordinary attention to detail.
