Position Summary/Relocation Benefits

 

Electronic Security Technicians participate in all facets of electronic security system life cycle from site survey, installation and maintenance of sensors and electronic components; connect signal wiring, and data transmission media. Electronic Security Technicians support Engineers, utilizing relevant technical skills and knowledge.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Candidate will install, configure, test, and maintain electronic security, access control, intrusion detection, closed circuit television, mass notification systems. Will utilize hardware and software skills to support the implementation of Security systems for commercial or military systems.

 

  

Previous experience with IDS, ACS, CCTV, and/or Mass Notification System integration, installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting.

 

Additional Desirable Skills and Knowledge

 

Knowledge of government and industry standards (security, electrical, communication)

Technical electronic school certification or military electronic technician training

Technical membership affiliations and certifications

Knowledge of Microsoft office suite and Microsoft project skills

LEVEL 1            1 to 3 years
