POSITION DESCRIPTION:
An entry level integration engineer interacts with customers, developers, and contractors to support mission critical needs performing a wide range of tasks associated with high speed processing systems. He or she enhances the system’s capabilities based on customer needs. Common tasks include systems integration, on site customer support, teammate communication (both in person and remote), software design, software development, software deployment, and requirements mining. An entry level integration engineer works in changing environments that require good communication, time management, task prioritization, and troubleshooting skills.

An entry level integration engineer often enhances the system’s capabilities based on customer needs. He or she designs, develops, engineers, interfaces, integrates, and tests complex hardware/software systems. An entry level integration engineer accurately estimates currently assigned task schedules.

An entry level integration engineer tests multiple systems to ensure all hardware/software components meet customer needs. He or she is proactive in detecting issues and ensuring product quality. He or she ensures discovered issues are documented and resolved He or she produces system level documentation including network diagrams, end-to-end flow diagrams, common user task descriptions, and system maintenance procedures.

An entry level integration engineer supports multiple customers on site by troubleshooting problems and providing immediate fixes when possible. High speed deployments often involve multiple external systems. An entry level integration engineer ensures deployments are configured correctly, optimal, and accomplishing customer objectives. He or she provides actuate information to customer questions
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Education: BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Engineering Experience: 0-4 years
Clearance: Must be eligible for SCI level clearance. US Citzenship required.

Ability to follow through with large scope tasks
Good communication skills (both remote and in person)
Good troubleshooting skills
Good time management skills
Good software development skills
Interest in and/or knowledge of networking and network protocols
Willingness to work compensated overtime when necessary
Willingness to frequently work in multiple buildings during the same day
