Job Description:

Lead, supervise, direct, manage and train technical team of 10-15 programmers, developers, software engineers/QA/Testers of a large web-based MMIS design and implementation project ; responsible for requirement gathering, analysis and specifications, design, programming, development, QA/testing, risk assessment, and implementation using devise programming languages, technologies and tools. Requires hands-on experience with complete software development life cycle and relational database development; perform project management tasks such as prepare comprehensive system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance and quality, collaborate with customer and team staff to resolve technical problems, provide daily communication on priorities to the program manager, secure and manage resource schedules and assist in standardizing QA and Test and validation procedures to ensure systems and applications adherence to quality management standards, corporate policies and procedures and client requirements, and project delivery schedules, ensure Peer Reviews, audits are done, project management tasks generally; assist Business Development Managers with technical proposals drafting and presentations.

Primary Skills: Skills/Technologies Required: Must have at least 3 yrs hands-on and diversified exp. in. several of listed technologies/ languages (at least 8) or professional IT Certification training or post graduate education/training because position requires working simultaneously on multiple projects for various clients and working on complex systems/appl. OLTP and OLAP, C, Clear Case, Clear Quest, JAXP, Test Script Language, VB, VBScript, Java, JSP, Oracle 8i/9i/10g, DB2, PL/SQL, SQL, Visual C++, J2EE, XML, UML, SAP, ABAP/4, BAPI, PeopleSoft, Business Objects, Ab-Initio, RequisitePro, MS Access, Visual SourceSafe, Load Runner, Win Runner, JBoss, JUnit, Crystal Reports, ASP, ASP.Net, ADO, ADO.Net, Swing, Oracle Designer 2000/6i, Oracle Developer 2000/6i, Endeavor, CICS, MVS, ESA, COBOL, Lotus Notes/Domino, Assembly, Web Servers, SQL Server, Web Logic, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Unix, Windows NT/2000/2003. Qualifications: MS/MA and 0-3 Years experience OR BS/BA and 5-8 Years experience. Employer will accept/consider any suitable alternative combination of education, exp. and/or training that equips the candidate with the requisite skills, abilities and experience to perform the core duties of these senior-level and demanding positions. Suitable experience include Programmer/Systems Analyst, Software Dev Project Management, IT Project Lead/Team Leads, Programmer Manager/Lead, Software Engineers/Developers, Applications Analysts/Developer, Database Administrators/Appl Developers, SW QA Analyst/Tester, or related software development/engineering experience.
