Alltech needs a Senior COBOL/DB2 Tester to work on a suite of large/complex mainframe and client server data warehouse decision support applications.


Required




  • Minimum 10-12 years experience as a Lead Tester/QA Specialist in mainframe COBOL/DB2 environment




  • Strong background in various testing (Unit, System, Integration, Regression, UAT, Parallel)




  • Strong background in developing test plan and test cases/scenarios




  • Coordinate with the development team in test case execution and collecting test results




  • Requirement analysis, validate test results, document and present results to client




  • Strong analytical capabilities w/ Customer Interface (discuss business requirements, present test results)




  • Knowledge of Mainframe:  JCL, TSO/ISPF, DB2, Endevor Librarian




  • Mainframe Environment:  IBM OS/MVS, COBOL II, SAS, DB2, batch processing




  • Client Server Environment:  MicroStrategy for data warehousing decision support reporting tool using DB2 (with a possibility of Oracle)




  • Experience with COBOL/DB2 (absolute must)




  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills; willing to put in the extra effort to facilitate the best possible product/resolution




  • BS Degree
